What is a Travel Credit?
A Travel Credit lets you keep the value of an eligible Pay Now Flex reservation you cancel or modify and use it toward a future booking. Credits are stored to your email address and appear automatically at checkout when you’re signed in.
Where can I use it?
Charolette and Minneapolis only at this time (Travel Credits issued from a Charolette or Minneapolis reservation can only be used at Charolette, Minneapolis, or any future locations where Travel Credits are enabled).
Will I get a refund or a Travel Credit?
Refund to original payment method when:
- You cancel within 24 hours of booking; or
- You made a same-day reservation and cancel at least 1 hour before check-in.
Travel Credit when:
- You cancel a Pay Now Flex reservation up to 1 hour before check-in (outside the refund windows above).
No refund or Travel Credit when:
- Your vehicle has already entered the facility.
- No-show reservations.
- You cancel within 1 hour of check-in or after.
What’s included in the Travel Credit amount?
Included: Parking charges, taxes, and applicable fees.
Not included: Reservation fees (non‑refundable). Car wash purchases are refunded to your payment method (not issued as credits).
Modifying a reservation
If you change a Pay Now Flex reservation and the new total is lower, we issue a Travel Credit for the difference automatically.
How do I use my Travel Credit?
- Join/Sign in to Spot Club. (Credits can only be redeemed by members.)
- Book a Pay Now or Pay Now Flex reservation at Charolette or Minneapolis.
- At checkout, your available credits will auto apply (you can uncheck to save them for a future purchase).
Notes:
- Credits cannot be used at exit or on Pay Later reservations.
- Credits may be combined with promo codes/discounts/points.
- Partial use isn’t available - your available Travel Credit applies in full up to the reservation total. If you have multiple credits, the earliest expiring credit applies first.
When do my Travel Credits expire?
Travel Credits expire 6 months from the original booking date. Your travel dates can be later - the credit must be used to book before it expires. The expiration date appears during cancellation, in your email, and in your Spot Club account.
Not eligible for Travel Credits
- Basic (Pay Now) reservations
- No-shows or early departures (understays)
- Monthly subscriptions
- Reservations after entry or within 1 hour before check in time.
Can’t see or use your Travel Credit?
- Make sure you’re signed in to the Spot Club account that matches the email on the canceled/modified reservation.
- Check the expiration date in your account.
